![]() There is a sheer lack any empathy, accountability and ethical behaviours I feel a requirement to work in a professional organisation such as a Bank. The institution itself is ripe with incompetence from Senior Management right down to the Customer Service Agents answering the phones/ working within the Branches. To surmise my experience, there are clear issues with PTSB. The unofficial and the official complaint. PTSB have two methods of making a complaint which Staff do not always necessarily advise. I ask Is what I am saying new to PTSB? Nothing has improved, and only gotten worse since opening my accounts in March 2023. ![]() An equally important function of a complaint is to identify trends, to look to make change/ improvements/ decide whether training is required/ identify performance issues. Presumption is not factious, Banks record facts only. Listening is a problem with PTSB as is recording of the complaint, that's if the complaint even gets recorded. One of the primary functions a Bank receives a complaint is to listen to their Customer(s). From my observations to date and the handling of my many (many) complaints, there is several issues within this organisation which have not been identified as of yet. In my opinion PTSB have not hired any professionals with the basic's of basic common sense and the ethics required to work in an organisation such as a Bank. PTSB did not compensate for a potentially large influx of new customers with the 3rd and 4th largest Banks in the Republic of Ireland. As customers are leaving in droves, and rightly so, given the complete disregard for basic customer interaction, communication, problem solving and advice.įrom my experience upon opening my accounts in PTSB the Liffey Valley Branch of March 2023, PTSB have not supported me as a customer like the many 100's of 1000's exiting their old bank (Ulster Bank/ KBC). I think the directorate should be informed, if they are interested in keeping PTSBs future intact and review their recruitment procedures and standards, and train staff on customer service engagement. Apart from this one individual, having read every review and 94.68% being negative and in some cases extremely stressful and traumatic experiences ( in a bank of all places ) It seems evident that this is a culture in PTSB, wheirin they seem to think they can treat customers and their representatives how they please, and do treat customers extremely badly. I will be pursuing this matter as far as it has to go. The ' manager ' of the branch ,( ATM facility) with her imperious, self righteous, bad mannered and contemptuous demeanour should self reflect on her delivery of communication and regard for the dignity of the customer. And website indication of third party representation, was repeatedly assured. Followed the advice of 3-4 customer service reps. The experience I have been having along with my ill and hospitalised mother, who is the account holder, but has appointed me as her representative, and filled out the power of attorney form as suggested on their website had brought us to literal mental and emotional exhaustion.
